Shivsrushti Announces Subsidised Ticket Plan Backed by Abhay Bhutada Foundation

 Visitors to Shivsrushti, the historical theme park in Ambegaon Budruk, Pune, will be able to access its rich offerings at a reduced price of Rs 50 per person from May 15 to July 15, 2025. This initiative is supported by a donation of Rs 51 lakh from the Abhay Bhutada Foundation and aims to bring more people into contact with Maharashtra’s historical legacy.

Covering 21 acres, Shivsrushti features several immersive exhibits that reflect the leadership, military strategy, and governance of Shivaji Maharaj. The park is divided into different sections that allow visitors to move through time and experience key events from the Maratha ruler’s life.

Among the most anticipated attractions is the Time Machine Theatre. Inaugurated in February 2025 by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, this immersive experience uses holography, digital mapping, and sound effects to create a lifelike journey into history.

Other sections such as Durg Vaibhav, Ranangan, Shrimant Yogi, and Sinhasanadhishwar present detailed recreations of forts, battlefields, and governance models. Replicas of the Tulja Bhavani temple and Ganga Sagar lake also add cultural and symbolic depth to the experience.

Fully air-conditioned space for summer comfort

Shivsrushti is equipped with air-conditioned interiors, offering comfort to visitors even during peak summer. The environment has been designed to make the experience enjoyable and convenient for families, students, and senior citizens alike.

To manage the expected increase in footfall, the park will only accept online registrations during the discount period. Officials have encouraged early bookings to ensure availability and avoid last-minute delays.
